Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Calverter (“the App”) handles information. Calverter is a calculator and unit conversion app for Android.
1. Information we collect
Calverter does not require an account and does not ask you for your name, email, or phone number.
The App may store the following locally on your device:
- Favorite unit categories you save in the converter
- The last selected unit category
This data stays on your device and is used only to improve your experience inside the App. It is not uploaded to our own servers (we do not operate a backend for this App).
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect and process device and usage information to deliver and measure ads, including items such as:
- Advertising ID / device identifiers
- IP address and general location derived from network data
- Device and app information
- Ad interaction and performance data

3. How we use information
- To remember your in-app preferences (favorites / last category)
- To show ads and keep the App free
- To maintain and improve App functionality
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Advertising partners (Google AdMob) may receive data as described above in order to provide advertising services.
5. Data retention
Local preference data remains on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. Advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided such information through advertising partners, please contact us so we can help address it.
7. Your choices
- You can reset local App data in Android system settings, or uninstall the App.
- You can limit ad personalization in your device Google settings (Ads / Privacy options vary by OS version).
8. Permissions
The App uses network-related permissions to load advertisements. Calculation and unit conversion work offline; ads require an internet connection.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
